The Chat Session: This is a brief (20-30 min) in-studio consultation during which we listen to your expectations regarding your portrait session. We also offer our own suggestions and custom design a session to fit your needs. Pricing and all aspects of the process will be discussed. We will finish with booking your appointment for your portrait session. The Portrait Session: During this session you will actually be photographed. This can be your choice of Mocksville or Clemmons location, depending on what we have decided during your chat session. The portrait session usually lasts between 1-2 hours. The Projection/Viewing Session: You will have the opportunity to view your projected images from the portrait session and make your final selections. We cannot stress enough how important it is to be prepared for your projection appointment. This is your time to view and purchase the images you have spent so much time planning for. All decision-makers should be present, so please schedule this appointment at a time that is convenient for everyone involved. Look around your home so you have an idea of where you would like to hang your finished portraits. Bring us measurements of possible walls, couches, and fireplaces. Please Note: this appointment usually takes about one to one and a half hours…small children do not enjoy this time! Style: Everyone has their own style. We find that the #1 reason our customers choose us is because of our distinctive style. Our style can best be described as traditional. Using several lighting techniques, we focus heavily on creating images that evoke strong emotion, showcasing individuality and personality. When we photograph two or more persons, we work hard to capture a sense of relationship and togetherness. Most importantly, our images retain a detail and sharpness in the EYES that sets us apart from many other photography studios. We thought we would answer some of the most frequently asked questions here, just to make it easier on you. We are totally available to answer any questions you might have, but this is what we hear most frequently... Can we just stop by the studio to ask questions and see your products? No... In order to make your experience truly unique, we ask that you make an appointment to come visit us in studio for a chat session. We will answer all your questions and show you (in person) everything we have to offer you! Our studio is open Tuesday-Friday ( How much do you charge? There is no simple answer to this question, except to perhaps suggest we are a "high-end" portrait studio. But then again, you already know this by looking at our work. Prices vary largely depending on size and products. We invest a tremendous amount of time and talent into each portrait session and its post-production, and you should expect to compensate us accordingly. Like most everything, you get what you pay for. Will you mail or e-mail me a price sheet? No...We will be happy to answer some general questions about pricing over the phone, and offer full details during a consultation at our studio where we will discus designing your custom portrait session. Do you offer custom framing? Absolutely! Each of our portraits is a unique piece of art and we want to ensure that it is wrapped in a frame that compliments our work. We offer a complete line of frames that have exceptional quality and distinctive style. Most of our customers leave with a framed portrait ready to hang on the wall.
